Cinco semanas!! No creo!!  Nuestra familia Ceibeña extrañamos!!

Four weeks! I can’t believe it!  We miss our family in La Ceiba!

Esta es Kinslito con “Abuela” – Gloria – a Dia de Madre.  Gloria y Hugo estaban nuestra familia Hondureña.  No podemos agradecer bastante para sus paciencia y ayuda. This is Kinsley with “Abuela” – Gloria – on Mother’s Day. Gloria and Hugo were our hosts in La Ceiba. We cannot thank Gloria and Hugo enough for their patience and help while we were in La Ceiba!

Ashley, enfermera voluntaria y compadre de escuela y casa por nuestra segunda semana.  Ashley was a volunteer nurse and our companion at the Spanish school and the house for our second week.

Ashley, yo, y Ana – voluntaria y compadre al casa nuestra trecera y cuarta semanas.  Nosotros viajamos juntos al refugio de vida silvestre, Cuero y Salado, en la última fin de semana de Ashley.  Que sorprendente y estupendo regalo pasar tiempo con ellas!!  Ana was a volunteer – dental hygenist – was our fellow homestay at Gloria and Hugo’s house our 3rd and 4th weeks.  We traveled together to a wildlife refuge called Cuero y Salado (Leather and Salty – the names of two rivers surrounding the refuge) the last weekend Ashley had in Honduras.  What a lovely, unexpected gift to have our time in La Ceiba enriched by Ashley and Ana’s presence!

Greetings from the island of Roatán!

Island life, for us, means lots of time with Kinsley! Lots of time in and on the water! Lots of rest. And not much time on the computer!

To catch up, our last week on the mainland was short.  Cal finished his diving on Monday. Back to La Ceiba Monday night for an excellent last three days of Spanish class.  Savoring the remainder of our sweet time with Gloria, Hugo and Ana, our La Ceiba family, made Tuesday-Thursday fly by. We arrived on Roatán a week ago Friday!
