El Porche

Cooled off last night.  Exquisitely beautiful morning.  So I tried a few pictures of Pico Bonito.

Dinner on el porche! Our turn to have the electricity out this evening.  Gloria had made a special dinner and cheesecake flan! Cheesecake is Cal’s favorite.

How’s that for a birthday present – getting an action shot of everyone else. NOT having to have a birthday picture taken?! (Ashley is renting the other room here for a week, volunteering at a hospital, and taking some classes.)

After my Spanish class yesterday afternoon we took a walk down to the beach.

On our way one of the shopping centers had a pool with turtles in it that we were required to stop and observe for a while :)
